about walking

So whenever I walk I'm still on crutches BTW but my hips turn, does anyone do that? How did you bet it to stop? This is my 5th day so far walking.

I'm not sure if its the same, but I get really bad hip and knee pain since haing the cast and crutches. I think its a mix of using different muscles and the alignment changing in the foot / leg after surgery.

Mine is bad at nights when I seem to relax back into my usual stance.

What surgery did you have?

This is what I had done
Gasrrocnemius Recession (intramuscular approach)
kinder Procedure , lateral column lengthening (Evans osteotomy) titanium wedge put in. And heel spur shaved down.

I found when I started walking all over again I had to consciously force myself to not turn out and to walk straight with a natural gait. It is easier said than done.
